Bluegrass Nashville is proud to present a very special Bluegrass on 3rd concert at 3rd & Lindsley — a career-spanning, twenty-song performance celebrating the release of the Tim O’Brien Songbook.
Get your signed copy of the brand-new Tim O’Brien Songbook on May 20 at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville. Featuring 40 of Tim’s most loved songs—alongside photos from his 50+ years in folk and bluegrass—the much-anticipated Tim O’Brien Songbook includes essays on songwriting, singing, and his life as a musician.
The performance will feature favorites from across his career in an intimate setting, joined by fiddler Shad Cobb and cellist Nathaniel Smith. Expect cameos from bassist Mike Bub, vocalist and mandolinist Jan Fabricius, and banjoist and Barcroft Books founder Randy Barrett. A few surprise guests may stop by… you’ll have to be there to find out who.
Doors at 6pm. Show at 7:30pm.
Arrive between 6–7pm to meet Tim, grab a copy of the Songbook, and get it signed before the show.

Roots & Rhythms Americana Concert Series
Presented by Wilson Bank & Trust
The Andrew Jackson Foundation presents the inaugural Roots & Rhythms Americana Concert Series, a three-night outdoor concert series held in June on the historic grounds of The Hermitage. The series highlights musical traditions shaped by Tennessee through evenings of bluegrass, R&B and gospel, and country.
Curated by Music City Roots and Roots Radio founder John Walker, each evening includes a Legacy Award presentation, live performances, and local food and drink in an open-air setting on the back lawn.
Bluegrass Night
Bluegrass Night at The Hermitage celebrates the heart of American bluegrass music as part of the Roots & Rhythms Americana Concert Series. From driving banjo and fiddle to tight instrumental interplay and storytelling lyrics, the night showcases both the roots and future of the genre in an unforgettable outdoor setting.
